Synopsis:

"You have to go. I won't be able to control myself. I've wanted you so bad for so long and after I've been in the cage...I can't think straight." He gives a guttural groan and his fist clenches on my hip.

Primitive. Primal. His need speaks to me. I tighten my grip on his neck and rock up to kiss him. He takes over. His kiss is hard and demanding.

"Mine." His voice is raw, savage and for a moment I truly believe he may lose control.

He rules in the ring

Two years ago, Jake and Amanda were going hot and heavy. But when Jake wanted more, Amanda walked away. Jake immersed himself in mixed martial arts, living life on the edge. But that didn't dull the pain of Amanda's rejection-until a chance encounter throws them together.

A high-powered lawyer, Amanda was a no-strings-attached kind of girl. But two years after her breakup with Jake, she still hasn't found anyone who gets her heart pumping the way he did. And then he shows up in her boardroom, hot as sin and needing help...

But can he rule her heart?

Jake is darker, sexier, and impossible to resist. As their chemistry builds, Amanda's not sure if she can stay in control, or if she's finally willing to let him claim her body and soul.

Tanya's Review:
This is book two in the Redemption series and while you don't have to read book one, Against the Ropes, before you read this one I strongly recommend it. This is the story of Jake and Amanda, We got a snippet of their story in Against the Ropes and man did I feel bad for Jake as Amanda just did him wrong. I am glad we got to hear the rest of their story in this book. Amanda seems like a woman who has it all, looks, comes from a well to do family, a great job but boy oh boy can looks be deceiving. She has some serious issues she needs to work out and Jake is just the hot alpha male to help her. Jake has to find a way to juggle what make him happy, fighting, and help his family business stay afloat. Jake was just destroyed by Amanda and boy do you want him to find his happy ending.
Again like in the first novel the outlaying cast of characters is strong and you can feel the love of this fighter family and want to hear everyone's story. If you are a fan of hot alpha males and MMA fighting definitely pick up this series, you won't be disappointed.

In Your Corner:   4/5  stars

Laura's Review:
Hot MMA fighters + a David vs Goliath story of justice? Sign me up! Before reading, I already knew I loved all those sexy alpha Redemption fighters from the first book in this series, Against the Ropes. But, while the first book had so much over-the-top ridiculous moments and plot twists, this book felt much more grounded. I loved Jake from book one, and couldn't wait to get to read his story. I wasn't sold on Amanda - and even though I certainly liked her better once I got to know her background - I still needed her to prove her worth to me, and to Jake. But, she grew so much (with the help of some great secondary characters), that it was easy to root for her in the end.

In Your Corner: 4/5 stars
